Job Description:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies, managing import/export operations, and fostering relationships with suppliers and customers in the pharmaceutical industry. This role involves overseeing business activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, and driving growth through strategic partnerships and market analysis

Profile Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, International Trade, or a related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development or import/export operations within the pharmaceutical sector
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations and practices
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitor strategies

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Strategy Development and Implementation:
    • Develop and execute business strategies to achieve company objectives
    • Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly business plans
    • Conduct market analysis, competitor research, and identify new opportunities
    • Monitor and adjust supply chain plans as needed
    • Establish and maintain relationships with reputable suppliers
    • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers
    • Advise the Board of Directors on technology transfer and new product research
  2. Business Operations Management:
    • Supervise and evaluate the effectiveness of business operations on a weekly basis.
    • Ensure compliance with company regulations and policies
  3. Customer Relationship Development:
    • Identify and develop relationships with potential customers
    • Maintain and enhance existing customer relationships
    • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
  4. Departmental Operations Management:
    • Track product files and progress
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure medical operations run smoothly
    • Identify and mitigate risks, proposing corrective measures
    • Report on operational status and market fluctuations
  5. Export Activities:
    • Coordinate with partners and relevant departments to monitor and expedite supplier exports, ensuring compliance with signed export contracts
    • Negotiate with shipping companies to verify prices (if required)
    • Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding shipment schedules and delivery
    • Perform other tasks assigned by the General Director
